No Positions Available

If you are interested in short term casual employment at the school, or would like to be considered for a permanent or long term temporary position, please read below.

Please note that all employees at Shire Christian are expected to be personally committed to the school’s mission, vision and statement of faith. The mission and vision are on the school website and the statement of faith outlined in a pdf document at the bottom of this page.

Teachers

Teachers are welcome to apply for casual relief work by completing the teaching application form below.

Teachers who are interested in a permanent position at the school in the future are welcome to write a brief letter of introduction to the Principal, outlining their teaching qualifications, experience, Christian background and church affiliation. If a position becomes available in the future, the Principal may contact you to invite you to submit a formal application.

The school uses teachers.on.net for advertised teaching positions and may also advertise in the Saturday edition of the Sydney Morning Herald. Advertised positions will appear on the school website.

Non-teaching staff

The school employs people in non-teaching roles such as secretarial work, finance, administration and maintenance.

People who are interested in casual employment or potential future permanent employment are welcome to write a brief letter of introduction to the Principal, outlining their qualifications, experience, Christian background and church affiliation. If a position becomes available in the future, the Principal may contact you to invite you to submit a formal application.
